Cover of the UK book by George RR Martin (2000) Millennium / Orion books

13x21, acrylics on marquetry wood veneer. Jim cut the spacing on the wood, and then painted in the openings. A really unique effect. One of 6 of the wood veneer paintings Jim did for George�s books. I am happy to say I have 5 of them... The hunt continues for the 6th! :)

Also published on page 104 of Jim�s book Hyperluminal.

Formerly of the Nigel Fisher collection.

Thanks! Well, I technically know where it is...It's more of a question of getting them to sell... You know how difficult those art collectors can be... :)
