Description

This was one of the original storyboard drawings (panel #107) drawn by Maurice Noble on for presentation to MGM officials for approval to produce the celebrated animated cartoon �How the Grinch Stole Christmas�, directed by Chuck Jones.

We bought this years ago from a dealer who had stacks of all the storyboards for this cartoon! My wife took one stack and I took another and we looked for key images from the cartoon. I wish I'd had more money at the time, but we had already picked a couple nice Disney original paintings that had been published in books before we realized what these stacks contained. Fortunately, we each picked a great stack; others were looking through the other stacks. We were both able to get our favorite moments from the story. I feel lucky having been able to get a couple great Disney illustrations and these storyboards!
