Don Martin was my favorite MAD artist. Even to this day, seeing the first panel of one of his gags gets me chuckling even before I get toe the joke. This example is the work of a pure MAD genius. See additional images of what the art looks like with the overlay.

Don Martin's style would make me smile before even getting to the punchline. This is a great strip by one of the all-time greats.
