DescriptionHere there be DRAGONS! It's Part II of IV of "The Dragon Seed Saga!"Older Iron Man covers are SO hard to find, especially with A+ content, so when this one became available, I jumped on it. I especially love that you get Iron Man in action, with an Iron Suit laying on the ground behind him (a suit that just fought the dragon Fin Fang Foom!), plus the faces of Tony Stark and the villainous Mandarin pictured above the fray. In this issue, the Mandarin even brings a mountain to life to battle Iron Man! With Paul Ryan on pencils and Bob Wiacek on inks, it don't get much better than that! Social/Sharing |

Congrats on getting this one, Paul. As you rightfully point out, the Iron Man cover selection going back a generation or more is few and far between, so getting them, much less really strong examples, is a tough thing to do but certainly worthwhile. Two Iron Man armours, one in action, Tony and the Mandarin looming above? Love it!

Splendid cover! Ryan and Wiacek are a great team. Love the facing portraits of Tony Stark and Mandarin!

Three Iron Men for the price of one! I love Iron Man fighting with a worn and broken suit on the ground...now that is how you start off a story arc! Great cover, Paul! Wiacek over Ryan looks great here. Big congrats!

Great Ryan cover example, Paul. Always loved the classic straight on Iron Man repulsor blastin' pose! Having the 2 hero vs. villain head shots up top really round outs an impactful image, to say the least! Congrats, man!
