Description

I commissioned this cover recreation from Jesse Simon, the grandson of legendary golden age comic book artist Joe Simon. Joe Simon did the original cover artwork for Captain America Comics #2 with Timely Comics. The book was released 80 years ago!!! Jesse recreated the cover in great detail via pencil and ink on a 16x20 art board with an art image area of 12x18. It is signed by Jesse in the bottom right corner and noted as "After Joe Simon" in the bottom left corner. Enjoy!
