DescriptionWolverine # 69 opening sequenceArt by Steve McNiven Inks by Dexter Vines Written by Mark Millar Marvel Comics - January 2009 I'm thrilled to share this sequence from the original Old Man Logan arc! I'm excited to have been able to put together this high-flying, high-octane, high-speed, high-stakes series of pages! Check out Old Man Logan soaring through in the Spider-Mobile to save Old Man Hawkeye from his daughter, Ashley Barton, and her thugs who were about to take out Clint/Hawkeye. Hats off to the art team for the amazing detail and motion in each panel! Gotta love those speed lines and all the little glass details. Millar and team really know how to start an issue. Thank you my friend! I pulled the book out last night when I was putting this post together. I think I'm due for a re-read as well.

Ben, thanks my firend! Ha, I wish! These original OML pages never seem to come up and when they do no one is letting them go easily. Perhaps I'll look into some lottery tickets soon :)

One of my favorite things about this story was that Old Man Logan and Old Man Hawkeye drove a red Spider buggy on their buddy road trip, and this action sequence is aaaaaaall about the buggy. So much exciting glass shattering goodness here. Major congrats!!

Paul, thanks so much! I'm totally with you. It seemed a bit arbitrary that they were taking the Spider-mobile at the end of the first issue. I thought it was just a bit of fun for us fans until they hit this part of the story and it all made sense why it would be needed. Not much else would have been able to drive up those building walls and soar like this.

I totally agree. Thanks for the inspiration to try and put together sequences in the first place! I still love seeing them in your gallery, my friend.

gonna need a big ass frame!
Hahaha! I thought about trying to scan and resize all five pages together and print them maybe half size. I'm afriad of what a custom frame for the full size art would cost. I also doubt I'd be able to get away with hanging something that size on the walls.

Thanks hermano! It's the main book that really got me back into comics in 2008 so it holds a special place with me in addition to being a modern classic. I appreciate ya.

Magnificent! It's mind bogling to see it all together like that. At least Hawkeye is blind...he would be freaking out imo! George, Congratulations on a wonderful score!

Thanks so much! I hadn't thought about that but I can see that with all the speed lines and pacing of the pages.

Congrats on being able to put these pages together again! When this arc came out I wanted to purchase one of these pages but when I contacted Spencer it was gone already! Good for you otherwise you would never have been able to get it together. And you got a baller comment! lol

Awesome 5-page long car chase scene! The detail of all the tiny shards of glass is signature McNiven. Congrats on assembling this one. Its rare to see 5 pages from this run together.
