Description

Terrific Di Fate cover for Antibodies by David J Skal, 1989. Di Fate is primarily known as a "gadget painter", but I always loved his figurative work. Here we get a blend of both! Based on the Cyberpunk novel, a group of young people devote themselves to merging with technology (techno self-mutilation), blurring the line between human and machine. SF has always explored the nature of "self" and gender and Di Fate captures that theme marvelously with this image.
