DescriptionStar Wars Age Of Republic: Qui-Gon Jin #1 Pg. 14 SplashPencils by Cory Smith Written by Jody Houser May the 4th (International Star Wars Day) is less than a week away and I'm now realizing that I have failed to share much of my Star Wars art here on CAF. So here's the countdown to May the Fourth Be With You as I share a few pieces. I was a teenager when Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace came out in theaters and it's still one of the most nostalgic films/moments in my life as a Star Wars fan and just memories from my youth in general. The prequels films got a lot of hate back in the day but now 20+ years later I feel they are better appreciated and the generation that grew up on them as kids and young adults are now much older and look back upon those movies with great joy, myself included. I love them. Anyway, I always connected with the character Qui-Gon Jin, played by Liam Neeson in the film. I was able to pick up 2 sequential pages from the Marvel Comics one shot "Star Wars Age Of Republic: Qui-Gon Jin", penciled by Cory Smith. This is the first in the two page sequence. Really love the work and the imagery on these 2 pages. Thanks to Cadence Comic Art for the pages, they represent Cory and sell his artworks. Social/Sharing |
