DescriptionNearly impossible to acquire a page from Batman #497, this card art depicting the climax of Knightfall is the next closest thing to owning such a page. In the early 90s, trading cards were all the rage. Knightfall was a great excuse to recap the major events in Batman's career in trading card form through Batman: Saga of the Dark Knight, a 100-card set published by Skybox in 1994. The art, penciled by Bane co-creator Graham Nolan and inked by Knightfall contributor Scott Hanna, depicts the breaking of Batman's back through the perspective of Bane.Pencil and ink on DC Trading Cards board. 9"x12" Social/Sharing |

Graham Nolan always provided a clean and classic superhero look to balance out the more stylized artists on Bat books during this event. One would think that BATMAN would sport the stubble look more often and then shave during the day to appear as Bruce Wayne.

Stunnning take on one of Batman's worst moments! Powerful art by Graham Nolan, the original creator of Bane.
