From the current Marvel Comics Star Wars run (volume 2, written by Charles Soule, started in 2020), issue #8. Issue synopsis: TO ESCAPE THE EMPIRE’S TRAP, THE REBELS SPRING ONE OF THEIR OWN! What’s behind COMMANDER ZAHRA’s quest for revenge against LEIA ORGANA? The powerful, dark answer revealed this issue! And the REBEL’S Fourth and Seventh Divisions will pay the price for Zahra’s revenge. See LUKE SKYWALKER, WEDGE ANTILLES and SHARA BEY battle against an onslaught of TIE fighters in the greatest dog fight of the series. This cover has a lot of things that I love about Star Wars all in 1 cover. You've got a new comic specific character in Commander Zahra who is an Empire bad guy character and I'm enjoying in the series. Then of course you've got Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Storm Troopers, and X-Wing fighters flying away from the remnants of an exploding Death Star!! Wow! Just a great image and something I was very happy to add to the collection. Thank you to Kirk Dilbeck (3-Wishes and Patron-of-art) for putting together this deal for me. May the Force Be With You! I love how it appears that the X-Wing fighters are responsible for exploding Zahra's Death Star eyeball! The Darth Vader and Storm Troopers kick ass, and that has to be one of the creepiest looking images of Palpatine ever drawn! Kudos on aquiring such a beautiful piece of art from a franchise you love so much, Kavi, and your 1st cover to boot!
