Description

This issue from the Spectre's first series was a prelude for the "Big Comic Book Event" of the day called "Invasion," which featured Earth's mightiest (DC) heroes banding together to stop an alien invasion from multiple races.

The Spectre is joined by the Phantom Stranger, Dr. Fate, Deadman, the Demon and Madame Xanadu in the southwestern desert to track down one source of the invasion and stop it. Seems like this issue could also count as an early appearance of Justice League Dark sans Swamp Thing.

The pages are twice-up size, 13" by 19", and while Chris Wozniak hasn't done a lot of comic book, I really enjoy his exaggerated and frenetic style here and the thick inking lines and whiteout effects he applied.
