Must be great to see Anderson's inks on large art in person. The brushwork alone on Starman is magnificent.

Most of the onus of successfully bringing the appeal of classic Justice Society superheroes from the '40s into a new decade in The Silver Age was on Murphy Anderson, and it was an artistic challenge he rose to magnificently. What more could anyone ask from an Anderson S.A. Large Art page than one with full-figure shots of Staman, and also his worst nemesis, The Mist? This page is just "Wow!"

I've been focused on wanting to familiarize myself with the characters and adventures of the JSA lately and as such, have been slowly reading their adventures in the highly lauded series written by Geoff Johns and have really enjoyed it so far. Next up is a trade collecting a bunch of Silver Age team-ups with the JLA and the issue this page comes from is featured inside, so I'm greatly looking forward to reading it. Murphy's beautiful rendering combined with his crystal clear storytelling epitomizes the DC Silver Age look and that is evident in this fantastic example. Congratulations!
