DescriptionI've been trying to get a nice page from all of the major artists during Peter David's run on the Hulk. While there's not too much Hulk on this one (only the top left panel), it's still a nicely drawn page from Deodato's first Hulk issue.The page also features a soldier losing part of his arm in a gruesome manner. Betty Ross Banner also makes an appearance along with a character named Alex Wildman. Social/Sharing |

That fearsome Hulk is definitely Deodato's style. The fine looking Betty is also how he would draw bad girls down the line. Flowing hair and lots of attention paid to the piercing eyes and sultry lips diverts my attention from the gruesome scene!

Nice Deodato page - a definite must for Hulk art collecting. I had a casual eye on this one but have several of Mike's Hulk pages to check that box. So glad you were able to pick this up - congrats!

Thanks Dave. Maybe one day I'll get one with more Hulk on it, but I liked the image regardless.
