Description

Yes, I got this page based on it's historic significance...great closeup of Witchblade in the bottom panel in her 1st appearance issue.

But, that middle splash of Shi leaping into action in full Samurai battle armor is the true money shot. Marc did such a great job in the framing of this pose, with spectacular details, I can't take my eyes off that center image.

I honestly covet this page more for that image of Shi, than I do for the 1st appearance of Witchblade.

Big Mahalo to Tatiana for letting me be the caretaker of this wonderful work of art.

Nice page! Love the art in this comic and the inks are just incredible. Great action shot with wonderful lighting. I know you collect more for historical reasons than the art -but this page is just great art even without the historical context. Congrats!

I actually created a folder titled "Pages that put the ART in Comic Art"....as there are many pages that I appreciate more for their artistic value, than their historic significance.

And, yes, this page is also listed in that gallery.
