Description

This is Plate No. 6 from Stephen Fabian's "Queen of the Black Coast" portfolio, published by the House of Fantasy Bookstore in 1976. This plate illustrates Robert E. Howard's quintessential hero, Conan, witnessing the supernatural as Belit's spirit was "In one mad instant she was there-a tense white shape, vibrant with love fierce as a she-panther's."

That effect of the arm and hand showng underneath a ghostly form is quite a feat. Every piece has something new to admire.
