Description

Brian Ching is definitely a working artist. He's done it all from Tow Cow at Image to Dark Horse, DC & Marvel. I've always liked his style, but it wasn't until his feed popped up on my Instagram that I decided to check out his website and request a commission. Brian was great to work with and open to collaboration. He was immediately interested in working on a piece featuring Storm and when I suggested the throne might look great under the arch that she first appeared under in Giant Sized X-Men 1, he was on the same wavelength from the jump! Uncanny! But then he took the homage a step further by basing his version of the throne off of Jay Anacleto's Black Panther cover since Storm was once queen of Wakanda.

Ching delivers and this one is a standout full of electrostatic discharge with gigajoules of energy! Storm's crossed legs and angry face sells the piece and her character as someone with dangerous intent!
