I was wondering why nobody has ever tried to recreate one of my favorite comic covers: Sam Kieth's "Marvel Comics Presents #85: Wolverine".

Artist Gary Martin was brave enough to take on the challenge and did a wonderful job with this commission.

Martin's art is definitely on target here. The only thing he's not able to get down is the occasional wildcard out of control stray hair or blade of grass that gives the Kieth more for us to think about. Martin is more slick and ready for the wall in its own way.
