I am happy to add this dramatic, early Rip Kirby to my collection. It features the alluring Pagan Lee and the menacing Mangler. Each panel is perfect, but the last one steals the show. The menace of the Mangler was never more real!

The Mangler looks like he wouldl have fit in quite nicely in a room full of Dick Tracy's villians. Nice strip, Jeff.

So menacing, the Mangler manhandles her and runs his finger along like a true villain. The face and hand work is delicate and old school quality to show prey and predator.

The poses, gestures, and staging are terrific! Love the mug on the villain and the femme fatale is a beautiful cross between Bettie Page and Frazetta's Vampirella well before either had hit newstands.

All three panels are tasty, for certain, but that third panel is truly succulent! The hands are incredible, a true draftsman!
