DescriptionThank you forever to Joe for letting me be the custodian of this fine piece of art until I part from this Earth.While Ian Bertram’s genius continues to reach unprecedented heights, as seen by his Eisner winning work on Little Bird, all of his signature styles were already present during the wonderful House of Penance series. Love this page for having those uniquely identifiable elements, from the scratchy shading to tentacles galore. It's like that word balloon tail is used as a panel divider in the last panel! The tilting is also a scene stealer being a bit unnerving.

I'm getting dizzy in a good way by looking at this. The tilting panels are a tremendous choice and Bertram pulls it off perfectly. Congrats on adding this special page to your great collection!
