Description

In honor of James S and his DPS/wraparound craving, I am posting this...Ed McGuinness' homage to Cockrum's X-Men. When I purchased this several years back, it was still unpublished. Luckily it got published as a variant to X-Men 600 a few years after I bought it. Especially love the inking detail on Cyclop's visor. 22x17" Thanks Ed and Mike!

A truly spectacular McGuinness cover! The Phoenix, Banshee, and Nightcrawler figures especially, have a real Cockrum vibe to them. But I'm with you, Cyclops is the standout figure on this piece. One of the nicest Edex pieces I've seen. Congratulations!

Every character really is perfect on this, but I especially love Nightcrawler. I really enjoy how McGuiness draws him and this whole piece is a standout! Huge congrats!
