Description

Batman (Vol 3) #81 Cover Original Art (DC, December 2019). Bane stands strong and proud on this cover for "City of Bane, Part 7". Bane has replaced the Bat-signal with the Bane-signal, showing Gotham City that the city belongs to him in this long running story arc. John Romita Jr's (JRJR) stylized approach is immediately recognizable, and Klaus Janson's inks are fabulous as always. It is also a rarity to have only Bane on the cover of a Batman comic, so this one is pretty special, and the depiction of Bane, including his haughtiness, is captured perfectly. Created in ink over graphite on standard Bristol board, with an image size of 11" X 17". Signed in the lower middle by both JRJR and Klaus.

Yeah, Klaus has always been great and I also love the Bane symbol replacement. Nice touch!
