DescriptionBelieve it or not, between 1993 and 1998 there were SEVENTEEN multi-issue Venom miniseries.But the one that started it all, Venom's very FIRST solo series, was Venom: Lethal Protector. And for years, I was hoping to snag a great interior from issue #1 of this miniseries. And I finally did! Here we have Venom -- in action -- in four of the five panels, including a nice splashy one there at the end. Oh, and that 4th panel is my favorite, as he finally escapes the clutches of his monstrous metallic captors (back a'blazing but he don't care) and prepares to open up his own big ol' can of whoop ass. Excellent first rate page from this first issue! Bagley gives this action page a Venom that is fully realized as a character and more devastating than imagined.

Who drills a trout? The baddies seem to be floundering. (So sorry, it just slipped out). That 4th panel is so Mcfarlane-esque, and so dark. It's my favorite, too. :) Not many people would appreciate the smell of their own burning flesh. You find the best pages, Paul. Super cool score. Big congrats!

Sweet! Another collector goal checked off - no better feeling with this stuff! No easy get I'm sure, let alone an all out action page like this one! Really dig that bottom left panel right by his signature. Classic. Congrats, man!
