God, I love this page. Everything about it, from the imaginative composition to the beautiful drawing,and to paraphrase a good friend of mine, its got a 'hot chick' beating up a super powered scumbag. Lol.
I let this page go many years ago in a trade and as many collectors will know,things you let go of are missed, but some... Anyway, I did a trade with Roland Lim (check out his fantastic collection of artwork )and got this beauty of a page back along with two other pieces of fantastic artwork. Trading is fun. He got art from me that I will likely be begging him to sell or trade back.

The eternal cycle, right? Trade and recover? :) Excellent page, Peter; there is no mystery to why you would have wanted to re-secure this beauty, and Roland is a great guy for working things out with you. I love the "reverse Phoenix" panel here, and the resulting clobbering gets the heart racing. Beautiful composition and execution by a singular talent. A re-read of this awesome book is long overdue for me... Congrats again, Peter!

Thanks. Roland is a geat person to deal with. Really nice and his collection is awesome. You cannot take the stuff with you and its nice to look at new stuff, or in this case, old stuff. Plus it does not seem as bad when you are trading pieces of paper.

Such a great page from a series that is truly Cassaday's masterpiece. The wait between issues was frustrating when the series was new, but so worth it to get such amazing artwork.
