DescriptionWell, I was going to take a buying break for a bit and this popped up at a price I was willing to pop. I always wanted a Dr. Doom piece and Sam Kieth has always stood out as an artist with a unique style you recognize immediately. A 13 panel page with Doom appearing in 6 of them. I also have a soft spot for buying Marvel Comics Presents, Epic Magazine, Bizarre Adventures and other collection style books. Doesn't hurt that it's from Issue 100 as well. Just a cool page, shows some Doom mood, shows a glimpse of his "living/plotting quarters, has some good aspects of his work and it shall forever be my one Sam Kieth example.Page is 14 x 17 and too big for my scanner. Side note: it also happened to be my 100th piece on CAF (not including pages from my complete stories). Was meant to be. Social/Sharing |

Issue #100 for your 100th post. A milestone event only Doctor Doom is fully capable of occupying. Sam Kieth at his most comfortable and confident created this story to glorify the greatness of Doom! The cloak has a wonderful quality of flow and regal grace. Doom rules with an iron glove and his subjects are the most loyal.

Doom Doom Dr. Doom
Trouble sleeping in his room
The dictator awakens upon a nightmare
Lacking control causes him to despair
Power corrupts
Peace it interrupts
All he opposes must be rended asunder
But deep down, he's a boy who misses his mother
