DescriptionI have a problem, so had to pick these pages up as a pair. John's organic pencils and layouts really help the 2 pages work well together. The splash is a perfect opportunity to show us both the fully formed Swamp Thing and the horror of Nigel's situation. The textures at the top are absolutely captivating - I've had this piece on the easel for a couple days now just enjoying it.Social/Sharing |

Now THIS is what you want on a set of Swamp Thing pages! Reminds me of a horror scene from Alien, but with plenty of great textures and swampy goodness. Great pages!

Good eye, my friend. Love the textural elements that some artists can bring to a character like Swamp Thing and his/her world. Just check this example out! Congrats!

Really lovely splash. I love all the toothbrush spritzing of the ink at the top. I'm stunned that John actually sent you the script withthe pages. I mean, does that mean he went to the trouble of making copies of his script for everyone who bought art from him? So cool!

Not copies, I believe these are his original script notes and the way he works.

Oh sure, but what I'm saying is that other people besides you also bought original art from this issue. So I'm wondering if he went out and made copies of his scrip notes so he could send them to everyone else who bought art from him.

You only get the notes that pertain to the page you bought.

Ah, I LOVE these two pages and it's so great to see they get to stay together. Congrats!
