Alan Kupperberg and Chic Stone.With special body armor that puts Dr. Doom to shame, the formidable Iron Cross wields his power in the capture of the Liberty Legion in this packed page. The Liberty Legion team consisted of heroes from Marvel's 1940s Golden Age predecessor, Timely Comics. We see Patriot, Miss America, Thin Man, Blue Diamond, Red Raven and Jack Frost, all having succumbed to the sleeping gas emitted by the Iron Cross's armored suit system. Vintage characters and villainous action beautifully rendered by the hand of two master comic artists that have yet to be fully appreciated and recognized for their talent. Social/Sharing |

Where did the Whizzer go? What was the Whizzer doing when he went away? Why was he shy to be the Whizzer in front of the Iron Cross? Was he afraid his Whizzer powers will rust the Iron Cross? When he comes back, will the Whizzer still have his powerful Whizzing power or would he be running dry?
