DescriptionUntil recently, the only Shang-Chi page I owned. I almost traded it away many years ago. Thankfully the other guy did not place as much of a value on this page as I did, and so I kept it.I also have a fondness for pages with chess boards on this since I was an avid chess player when I was in high school. As pointed out in the comments this was a homage to Steranko. Social/Sharing |

Love that Dr. Doom, which looks to take inspiration from Wally Wood. Fantastic page (although I'm sure Doom would not appreciate that description)!

Miki- was I the guy who didn't value this enough? If so, I must have been out of my mind! Great early Zeck page. Always thought this was Mike's homage to Steranko.

Fabulous page! That bottom panel with all the tech in the background and the close-up of Doom staring at his chessboard is amazing! Zeck really put this one out of the park.

Really awesome! Zeck issue before fully taking over the pencilling duties of the title! The reveal of Doom with his pieces in play getting ready for EndGame!

Nice page. I pulled up the issue on line to see if the colorist followed the instructions from the margin of the page. Spoiler Alert: He/She did! Thanks for sharing.

A fabulous page. Aside from the Steranko riff, I love that Zeck drew Doom's mask as if it were made of flesh, in order to to show the facial expression. Great, kooky fun!

Fantastic MOKF end splash. Love Zeck's awesome Dr. Doom over chessboard panel that perfectly sets up the MOKF #60 cover image which I own. Congrats!
