What a magnificent page! That third tier is cinematic and dramatic. You can put any dialogue in there and it'll still turn out great.

That tier reminds me of the '60s DC romance books, which would do a similar three-panel spread. I like this way better: less melodrama, more tension with the gradual close-up.
