DescriptionOf all the "90's" books, I have a soft spot of Witchblade. I am not sure how many I actually read but I thought the imagery was great. This is about as far from my normal collecting fare as things get but I am always interested in exploring different niches within our hobby.Social/Sharing |

I love the way Corto Maltese has his left arm up in a defensive posture, as if that in any way is going to stop the Dragon Lady, complete with slimy shit growing all over her body, from unleashing the wrath of hell upon him in this great page!

Dear Penthouse Forum,
Back in 1999, I was working at the mini-golf. It was hot and I had my shirt off. I noticed one lady staring at me while I was washing balls. She came over to hand me balls and I complimented her handling of said balls. That made her chuckle and tell me her name, Sara. One thing led to another, yada yada yada.. she had a thing for wielding a Witchblade during, and she kicked me out of her apartment right after in the manner depicted in the splash of Witchblade #31 by Randy Green. I was fired from the mini-golf the next day.

Love it! An empowering moment immortalised on canvas with surgical mastery. Sara's judgement will be served hot then cold. Congrats on such a powerful slice of a legendary book.

Quite surprised to see this in your gallery.
I was also tempted as it's a perfect example of Green's tenure of the book which is often overlooked because it followed Turner's.

Witchblade?!?
What's next Jeff? You're going to tell us you're into wrestling, NASCAR and monster trucks?
Congrats on the page!

This was a page I had considered picking up, but I certainly didn't expect to see it show up in your collection. Congrats!

After so many years.. looks like I still have more to learn about your tastes. Ha ha. I loved Randy's work in the 90s. More cartoony than standard Too Cow fare. got to meet him and he is super nice with a very nice Southern Accent. Congrats on this excellent pick up.
