Awesome first storyarc of the Marvel Knights Daredevil series that would revitalize the title and serve as the launching pad for Joe Quesada to eventually revitalize the entire Marvel line of comics as they were coming out of bankruptcy a few years later. Quesada's work really cleared up all the smoke to allow Marvel to grow again!

Yessir. We got some pretty awesome comics out of the deal. I wish Quesada and Palmiotti had stayed on the title for beyond that first story arc as it suited them as welll as anyone before or since.

Trey this is a great pick up!!! Congratulations!! This year I picked up a page from Guardian Devil as well, as it was my proper introduction to Daredevil. Joe, Jimmy, and Kevin did such fantastic work on this run. Congratulations again!!!

Very cool man. It was my proper introduction to Daredevil as well. I've since started from issue 1 (1964) and read all the way to current. My enormous fandom of the character started here in this story.

Wow, I think of doing that as well! I wonder if the older issues kind of drag? I started on the JRjr days. Maybe I'll have to take it on!
Anyways, this is an insane page. Quesada and Daredevil, too good!

What a great page from an important part of Marvel's history. I love the contrast between the heavy shadows and the think lines.
