14.75x13.25" Strathmore artboard has pen and ink original art by Henry Kiefer for page 4 of Wambi, Jungle Boy #8, published by Fiction House 1950. Artboard features seven panels and shows two men encountering tiger, one running away in hopes that the tiger would rid him of his rival. Hearing the man's cries, Wambi races to the rescue on the back of his elephant friend Tawn, joined by his gorilla friend. After saving the man, he gifts Wambi a dagger and makes pledge to him. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Margins have some scattered editorial notations and dust soiling/handling wear. Bottom margin edge has some moisture staining, not infringing into art. Slightest aging to lower right portion of art area, but still clean and could be matted for VF display.
