14x17" artboard has pen and ink and inkwash specialty original art by inker/artist/writer Dave Bullock, who has worked on Batman projects for DC Comics. Art fills entirety of artboard, showing Batman punching The Joker high above the streets of Gotham as they both begin to fall. Joker's gun fires off a shot as his Joker playing cards scatter into the night sky. Bullock has signed at lower right. Back has some preliminary pencil art. Art was a private commission done by Bullock for Kidd, as noted by "For Chip, My Dearest & Oldest Bat-Pal! Best Always, Dave Bullock" inscription on back. Exc. Amazing Batman and Joker original art. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
