GENE COLAN! I'm fortunate to have accumulated a large collection of art, but Colan -- one of the true greats -- has eluded me until this weekend at NYCC 2021. I wasn't specifically looking for Colan art but in leafing through Albert Moy's offerings, I was thrilled to land on this page. It's a great representation of Colan's consummate storytelling chops, and features the Constrictor -- which is "Serpent Society" adjacent enough to put it squarely in my wheelhouse.

Dynamic Cap action in the first two panels! You can feel the power in Colan's action figurework. The rest of the page builds on that same visual excellence for a more complete dramatic presentation with military action.
