Description

For some reason, Leonard didn't include the publication year on later dailies. These earlier ones from the 30s have the year on them though. Leonard's style was a little looser here, with a more cartoony hatching technique (as in the shadows in panel 3). He worked at a larger size too, pretty standard for newspaper strip art -- the later strips are on the small side.
