DescriptionPublished July 1962.Page 2 from second story "They Vanished Forever!". Pre superhero page from Strange Tales. Strange Tales became a superhero book from 101 onwards when the Human Torch got his solo series. Dr. Strange was added in 110 and the Torch was replaced by Nick Fury in 135. Strange Tales ended with issue 168 when Fury and Strange got their own books. Social/Sharing |

Lovely art, I especially like the dazed look in the sailor's face in the last panel. The Hulk certainly IS sensational!

Beautiful pre Marvel Universe monster and fantasy stories. The large art of these are impressive just to see for their place in history.
