DescriptionThese two living legends, Ron Frenz and Sal Buscema made an incredible duo. The Hulk Smash Avengers mini-series originally caught my eye years ago because Lee Weeks worked on all of the covers. Wish I was able to pick some more art up from it but super happy I was at least able to get this page from issue 1 to keep my Fixit page company. Thank you again Annu!Social/Sharing |

Beautiful page by the dynamic duo of Frenz and buscema.
That 4th panel is iconic and many heroes and villains featured on this page.

Such a great series artistically with Weeks on the covers and Frenz and Sal on the interiors. Really love especially how Ron was channeling Sal on the Hulk imagery, with the classic Hulk leaping image as a prime example. Congrats - GREAT page. Thanks for sharing!

Buscema and Frenz are such a team, their art so crisp and clean
These panels of Cap and Thor doth gleam, with Hulk so big and green.
(This comment just kind of morphed into a line of verse).

Attention grabbing throwback teamup of artists and writer designed to bring classic adventure and artwork. It definitely stood out and went against the grain to make it so successful of a mini series.

What a dynamic duo! I love all their projects together, and wish they hadn't waited so long in their careers to pair up. Can you imagine if they got together in the 80s on main Marvel titles? What could have been...What a crisp and clean page, where you can clearly see both of their styles. Nice score. Congrats!
