Description

Ty Templeton & Don Heck's Marc Spector: Moon Knight Special #1 Spoof Cover (Marvel, 1992). Part of the Moon Knight Cover Gallery from the Marc Spector: Moon Knight Special #1 issue. It was a collection of faux covers making it seem that Moon Knight had been around a whole lot longer than he really has been. For a Silver Age-style cover, Marvel asked Ty Templeton to supply something in the format of the early Silver Age Batman Covers. Created in ink over graphite on bright white Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The corner box, issue/price, logo, and all cover text are stat paste-ups (just like they used to do in the old days). A great looking homage to the Silver Age, in excellent condition.
