Maleev creates this piece with a pose that is like a marble scupture. It is a work of contemplation as Peter Parker is alone in his thoughts after a battle that most likely took a personal toll as tragedy always follows him like a cloud.

Casey, this is just beautiful. The humanization of Peter is front and center, and this drips with the weight of being Spider-Man. The watercolor technique is just on point as Maleev is just so good. Great piece!

Absolutely gorgeous... Talk about "Spider-Man: Blue"... Alex's impeccable color work is on full display here, and everything building to the red on the hands really makes me think of all the blood that Peter always (correctly or mistakenly) perceives to be there, despite (or maybe because of...?) his best intentions. The WEIGHT is real and visceral in this one. Amazing piece - congrats!
