DescriptionNot exactly one of Hal Jordan's well-known 'best friends', Chip was a member of the Elite Design Consultants. He was mainly featured in an issue of Secret Origins and the Action Comics Weekly run.This Special, marks the end of their friendship when the Guardians force Hal to choose to preserve the life of his mentor and friend Priest, or the kid who idolizes Hal and helped him get his current job as a test pilot. When he verbally chooses the former and wins the approval of the Guardians of the Universe, the consequence is that the friendship between Chip and Hal is over. Social/Sharing |

Quite an ending with the isolation and the tall shadow. It's a moving splash that is the lowest of lows for a hero.
