Darwyn's work on The Spirit and DC: the New Frontier was so appealing to me I just had to get this little sketch when I found it for sale. I love his retro style and sense of humor with the subjects. He will be missed!

Darwyn's style was retro 50's atomic age when it was more popular to crosshatch everything. It cut against the grain and we appreciate him the more for it with each day.
