Straw and bunson burners don't mix. The different values of shadows and shading give the piece a spooky atmosphere and perfect for the fall season when Scarecrows are free to take off away from their regular jobs.

It would NOT be presumptuous to call this one Wrightsonian. Their styles are completely different, but this piece still captures the mood and atmosphere found in much of Wrightson's work. You're good to go, Robert!
