Description

This hand colored plate is in the book The Ultimate Triumph. It was a limited release of 26 Copies that were signed and lettered with a COA signed by Ellie Frazetta.

I am always cautious, so I sent images to The Frazetta Museum, and they confirmed the authenticity.

This is especially meaningful to me. In addition to being a huge fan of Frank's work, I made several trips to the Frazetta museum when I was younger. I got to see Frank and Ellie there, and they were always very kind. Ellie was especially encouraging of me in my younger days of pursuing Art.

On my first trip to the museum, Ellie sat with me for over an hour just looking at my drawings after having just spent several hours at the museum looking at Frank's work. There was no one else at the museum, and she kept telling me to bring in more art in from the car. I was on my way home from my first year at College in the summer, so I had a lot of stuff to show. I gave her a piece, and every time I came back to the museum she remembered me, my name, and that drawing of a cartoon bear. The first time I was there Frank was hanging out on the porch. Wonderful memories.

Thanks Tom! Some great memories in those trips to the Museum. Very happy to have something from Frank in my collection. I was a broke art student on all of those trips, so anything more expensive than a poster was impossible.

Ultra cool. You also got to spend time with Frank And Ellie. Treasure those memories. I would love to have met them.
