DescriptionSo, I claimed some Scooby-Doo pages from Anthony during the themed Dueling Dealers on 11/3/2021. Those will eventually become auction items to support the dog rescue that my lovely wife is on the board of. But here's a little suggestion. If you already are getting something shipped from anyone, check and see if there is a Pop Mhan page you can add on for cheap. Do it. Trust me. Or better yet, trust Marcus in his chat pronouncements that they are under valued. Okay, don’t do it for that reason. (Is it really in jest, or is he sounding a fog horn? Hmmm…) Or maybe they are priced just right. Who knows? Who cares?! Sometimes you just need to chase a shiny squirrel that is easy on the wallet while you plan the next grail. Nick often says buy what you love, and I love me some Star Wars. Especially when it kicks off with a page 1 space battle. Pew pew!Social/Sharing |

And Norman Lee laid down some great inks, don't want to forget to mention that!

Pop Mhan deserves our respect as an artist and a man. He's been in the game for over 25 years and has credits in Wildstorm, Dark Horse, DC, Marvel, Top Cow, Topps, Hasbro and more. His reach and influence crosses all spectrum of pop culture. It is as wide as the price ranges for his original art where it can be low on Wednesdays and be 8 times as much on Sundays. I'm waiting for the right opportunity on the weekday to find one of my own.

Agreed. One of the many journeyman artists whose work we appreciate, but that the full body of his efforts (which as you mention are vast and I suspect most folks don't realize) has yet to catch the collector zeitgeist with the same gravitas as some of his peers. Which is why I could not resist another page from this series while I had the opportunity!

Pop Mhan is an underrated artist. I'm not just saying that because I own almost 30 Pop Mhan pages, although I guess that does give me a selfish reason for wanting his art to get more attention.

I am more and more seeing them pass through my stream (now that I have actually started populating watch list terms in my CAF profile), and feel those are fish I need to be catching.

Beautiful high contrast work and it's the first page from the first issue of this series, which is also cool!
