DescriptionThe first of four Star Wars pages uploading the next few days (what else were you expecting from me?). Thanks to Steve Lipsky for working out the deal for this bundle. Seems without really trying I have assembled almost 25% of the book now, stringing together pages 23 through 29. The start to this four page sequence is Vader talking with Tarkin, here recapping how he laid waste to some Geonosians like he once laid waste to some Tuskans... like you do. Hanna inks over Kirk blue lines.Social/Sharing |

They were animals, so I slaughtered them like animals. Thats badass AF Vader dialogue right there. Gotta love a casual Empire meeting on Tarkin's ship between the Grand Moff and Vader. Great exterior space shot to set the scene setting which is always my favorite way to start a Star Wars panel page. Love it man! Looking forward to the rest of the pages! :)

Tarkin's ship, the Carion Spike, is one sleek and stealthy corvette class starship design.

Vader and Tarkin, best friends forever!
People, let me tell you 'bout my best friend
He's a warm-hearted person who'll love me to the end
People let me tell you 'bout my best friend
He's a one-boy, cuddly toy
My up, my down, my pride and joy

I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I hate them.
I know.

If only you and Leigh Brackett had a crack at script doctoring the prequels. And Han Solo surprisingly walked in on Anakin and Palme in the Lars' garage.

"It's like poetry, it's sort of.., they rhyme. Each stanza kind of rhymes with the last one. Hopefully it will work."
I would have had Padme bake cakes and shirtless Anakin go through 12 doozy rounds to earn the title of jedi master. His eventual downfall would come in the form of temptation from the dark side that keeps haunting his dreams with "What's your best price Anakin?"

Yeah, that last line from Vader is just bad ass! Thanks for including a scan of the published page so we can read it. 👍
