DescriptionAnother stunning page by Simone Bianchi from his creator owned personal work "Ego Sum", in the begining someone said Simone was too illustrator for being a good storyteller but for my taste I love absolutely his early works and I think you may know why: fully acrylic painted page, larger then life original format (35×50 cm), sci-fi,fantasy and whatever you need for a great reading and visual experience... In particular way this gorgeous page,that It does a perfect couple with my other one (pages 8 and 9), is a perfect example of what is Ego Sum: vibrant and vivid painted colors, wild immagination, a great blend between post futuristic sci-fi and an exquisite reinterpretation of some costumes from the ancient feudal Japan, see the lady in the lower left panel and the principal character that is a sort of futuristic samurai. The second panel of this page has been used also as illustration for the back cover of "Ego Sum" vol.2. Thanks to Davide G. for this correct observation.Social/Sharing |

It is illustrative, but still fluid. The light colors do provide a fantasy look as does Bianchi's characters with the page design.

Fantastic page by Simone! It's a real pity that the story remained unfinished and that he no longer does fully painted books.
