DescriptionA FEAST FOR ALL THE SENSESOne of the most unique love stories I’ve seen in my many years of following comics, the epic forbidden love story between Psylocke and Blob, from AGE OF X-MAN. Psylocke being one of my favorite characters, and the only real love interest I really ever accepted was when she was with Angel (Betsy plus Warren 4-ever). But this forbidden hidden love connection in a world without these types of relations is done so beautifully without having to have to do much. This HUGE moment breaking so many barriers seeing Betsy crawl on the table towards Fred. The art in this series, from Jeanty/Poggi, is really beautiful. There are a lot of really great facial expressions and unique looks on each of the characters. There are a lot of subtle moments in this series that also really captures the absurdity of the world created by X-Man. When I heard from the owner if this page, that he might sell to me, I jumped at the chance as I really enjoyed this series and this moment in comics was absolutely invigorating. I recall counting the days til issue #3 came out to let us comic geeks know how this crazy opportunity with gorgeous Betsy was going to play out for big Fred. This was the only world where we get to see this type of budding love interest for the really lovable gentle giant only in X-Tremists AGE OF X-MAN. I really enjoyed seeing this side of Blob and to see him with my ultimate favorite character Psylocke was a feast for all my comic senses. Social/Sharing |

Wonderful! Makes me want to go grab the books to read the story. The chemistry between these two just staring into each other is true masterclass! Congrats.

Never even friends
Betsy crawls and bends
Unexpectedly
Costs more than a little change

Nice pickup. This relationship was one of the stand out storylines of the alternate Nate universe. Great page. Great art.
