Description

I always wanted to pick up a model sheet from the master to go along with my storyboard page and I just happened to stumble upon one from a local animation collector. Toth’s model sheets were a huge source of inspiration while I was in art school and I still occasionally do studies from them as warm-ups. These pages are just a wealth of knowledge of design, form, and gesture among other things and I’m happy to have one in my collection.

Clean piece with all the flawless idealized images in the designs. All the problems are worked through before it reaches this stage.

I also love those as Toth infused so much life in them. Much more than the usual modern three views turn arounds.

Model sheets are a great way to get art, but to also really SEE the process - love the notes on this one! Congrats!
