Description

It's rare that I use the same character in consecutive Common Elements commissions: in fact, I'm not sure that it's happened more than once before. But given the haphazard manner in which I commission these -- I seize opportunities as they arise, and choose subjects that seem to suit a given artist's style -- it's bound to happen on occasion.

Here, then, is Nightwing's second appearance in the series, having just appeared in the Common Elements numerically preceding this one. A battle between Dick Grayson and the tag-team of Misty Knight and Colleen Wing -- call them Knightwing Restorations, Daughters of the Dragon, or Heroes for Hire, as you please -- was long overdue.

Manuel Garcia absolutely killed the execution on this dynamic scenario. Not only is the design of the image spectacular, but the inking is flawless. Thanks to Fred Chamberlain at Super Pals Art for making the connections.
