Published 1978.
Guest star Deadman.
Keith Giffen's first published work was in 1976, so this page is from early in his career.
But even then his art stood out to me. There is something about this page that reminds me of the great Spanish artist Esteban Maroto.
His style has changed many times over his long and lustrous career and I have followed and enjoyed his creations every step of the way.

Oh wow, so crazy! I was just about to say how cool it is that you picked up a 70's era mainstream page by Esteban Maroto, then looked at the credits and noticed Giffen's name! I didn't even notice Giffen's name in the title. Goes to show that he was influenced by more artists than just Kirby, early on in his career. So cool to see this!

Great 70's style that DC used for many of the non hero books like romance and horror! Their influence is strong in this supernatural tale since it has Deadman guest starring.
