DescriptionX-Men artist Greg Land created this stunning cover for ComicBox Magazine #1 (X-Men special) in early 2005 as a teaser/preview for X-Men: Phoenix Endsong. Features my two favorite mutants, claws-out Wolverine and Phoenix doing her "fingers" thing with a gorgeous Phoenix Force blast! The Phoenix Endsong five-issue series was very popular among X-Men fans drawn to Greg Land's photo-realistic art. I'm thrilled to get Phoenix Endsong art featuring my two favorite X-Men! Social/Sharing |

Land's rendition of Phoenix circa the Endsong arc has always been a favorite of mine. Throw in a 5'3"" certified bad@$$ and you have an amazing COMBOOOOO!!!!

The word for a cover like this is "exquisite." Fantastic addition, Dino!

Love the optical illusion of Phoenix's eyes. Obviously, as drawn for color, the eyes are empty. But when you look at it in b&w, it also looks like her eyes are actually closed. Very cool.

The Phoenix drawing is absolutely fantastic. The Wolverine isn't too shabby either. I love their juxtaposition, creating a scene that I wouldn't want to be within 1000 feet of.
Another powerhouse image in your collection!
